Review the process that the user is currently using and identify shortcomings.
Determine if the current process is consistently delivering the expected results and if not, analyze what changes are needed.
Develop documentation that clearly and accurately describe the steps required to complete the expected task.
Review the documentation with the user and provide support as the user executes the task using the new documentation.
Provide additional support, if needed, while the user becomes familiar with the process.
